Professor Dr. Jalal Deen Careemdeen is a Professor of Sociology of Education at the Faculty of Education, The Open University of Sri Lanka, with over 17 years of experience in teaching, research, and teacher education.

He holds a PhD from the National University of Malaysia (UKM), where he received the Graduate on Time Award and Best Publication Award. His research focuses on educational well-being, socio-educational participation, equity in learning, teacher development, and digital education, with publications in internationally indexed journals including WoS, Scopus, and ERA. He has also authored books and numerous research papers and actively supervises PhD and MPhil students internationally.

Prof. Careemdeen has extensive international academic experience, having delivered keynote addresses, invited talks, and research presentations at conferences across Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and Sri Lanka, including major international academic forums. His collaborations extend across universities in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Pakistan, while his involvement in Commonwealth of Learning (COL) projects has contributed to ICT integration, digital education leadership, curriculum development, and teacher education.

He also serves as an overseas doctoral examiner and contributes to education policy and reform through academic and national media engagements. His academic profiles include Scopus Author ID: 57256869800 and ORCID: 0000-0002-4414-5389.

Dr. Walusimbi Yunus is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Public Administration and Dean of the Faculty at Islamic University in Uganda. In his academic capacity, he teaches a range of courses in Management and Human Resource Management, drawing on his extensive academic and professional experience in these fields.

He is also actively involved in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate diploma research projects, providing academic guidance and research support to students.

A qualified teacher and management scholar with extensive teaching experience in management and related disciplines, Dr. Walusimbi previously served as a Human Resource Officer, gaining substantial practical experience in human resource management and organisational practices. He has also served as a part-time lecturer at Makerere University Centre for Continuing Education, particularly under the Centre for Extra-Mural Studies (CEEMS).

He holds a PhD in Management from Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah, Perak, Malaysia, which has further strengthened his academic expertise and professional competence in management, leadership, and organisational studies.

Associate Professor Dr. Joned Ceilendra Saksana is an academic, management practitioner, education consultant, and cross-sector collaboration leader with extensive experience spanning higher education, organisational management, professional services, and educational development. Dr Joned currently as a Director Research and Development of CV Edunesia. Consultan education coperation of new enrollment student and His also acting as Supervisory board of PT SSP for BNSP Certification, he contributes to the development of strategic partnerships and institutional collaborations, strengthening engagement between higher education institutions, professional organisations, industry, and other stakeholders.

With a multidisciplinary academic and professional background, Dr. Joned brings valuable expertise in management, institutional development, strategic cooperation, education consulting, and organisational collaboration. His professional work focuses on translating academic knowledge into practical initiatives, developing sustainable partnerships, and facilitating cross-sector engagement. His experience and leadership make him a valuable contributor to academic forums, professional development initiatives, and international collaboration in management and education.

Dr. Hairul became an Academician at IIUM in 2000. Prior to that, he was working in the Accounting and Finance section of international companies in the IT and plantation sectors. He completed his PhD in Corporate Governance in 2009 and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2014. At the Kulliyyah level, he has served as the Head of Internationalization and the Academic Quality Liaison Officer, each for a period of 2 years. He was also a member of the University-level Agropreneurs Incubator Project sponsored by Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad.

Dr. Hairul has published extensively, especially in the area of Corporate Governance, in reputable journals including the Journal of Contemporary Accounting and Economics, Journal of Intellectual Capital, Journal of Accounting in Emerging Economies, Journal of Accounting and Organizational Change and Managerial Auditing Journal. He was awarded the Outstanding Contributor Journal Articles Indexed in SCOPUS and WOS, International Islamic University Malaysia for the year 2016, the Highly Commended Award from Emerald for the article Corporate Governance Effect on Firms’ Performance – Evidence from the UAE in 2018, and several best paper awards at international conferences.

He has received various research and project grants from Government agencies such as the Ministry of Higher Education and Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL), and from the private sector including the Malaysian Rail Link (owner of ECRL), Bank Islam and CIMB Bank, as well as from the university.
